Photograph a mushaf page, a wall frame, or a book quotation and the scanner reads the Arabic and names the ayah. The OCR runs in your browser — the photo is read on your device and only you see it. It is labelled beta honestly: print quality and lighting affect the reading, so the top matches are shown with the raw text for you to check. Educational support, not a fatwa.

How it reads a page

An in-browser OCR engine (Tesseract, Arabic model) extracts the text, then each line and the whole passage are matched against the complete mushaf. The best candidates are ranked and the confident one is marked — with the raw OCR shown, so nothing is asserted that you cannot verify.

A printed mushaf page, calligraphy on a wall, a quotation in a book — anything with legible Quranic Arabic. Clear, straight, well-lit photographs read best.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The optical character recognition runs inside the browser tab on your device.
