Shah Jahan and the Taj Mahal

Shah Jahan commissions the Taj Mahal as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in childbirth. Twenty thousand artisans worked for 22 years to complete it. Considered one of the greatest examples of Islamic architecture anywhere in the world.
