AiQuran vs Quran.com

Quran.com is the world’s most-used Qur’an website — donation-funded, free, and the reference reader for tens of millions. AiQuran is not trying to replace it; this page explains what each is best at. Facts on this page were checked on 2026-08-27 against the competitor’s own published pages; their strengths are listed first, and “not found” never means “does not exist”. Scale and trust: 82 million active users across web and apps over the last 12 months (their own published figure). On the AiQuran side, the comparison covers reader, translations, audio, guided plans without signup, ai answers with enforced citations, recitation practice & hifz review with mistake history, and more — with the edge marked honestly for each row, including the rows where Quran.com leads.

FAQ

Should I stop using Quran.com?

No. It is excellent at what it does, and AiQuran itself consumes the Quran Foundation’s open API with credit. Use AiQuran when you want the pieces they don’t offer: cited AI answers, hifz practice with private mistake history, offline depth, and classroom tools.

What does “enforced citations” mean?

The assistant can only answer from retrieved, named sources — Qur’an text, named tafsir editions, graded hadith — and every sentence is checked against them after generation. If sources are insufficient, it says so instead of guessing. The full method is public on our Methodology page.

Cited answers are educational support, not a fatwa. Live teaching is not bookable.
