The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah

Blocked from performing umrah, the Prophet ﷺ accepts treaty terms at Hudaybiyyah that many companions found humiliating — yet Surah al-Fath opens by calling it "a clear victory" (48:1). The truce opened the way for da'wah across Arabia; more people entered Islam in the two years that followed than in the nineteen before.
