What it does during a khutbah

• Transcribes Arabic speech live, restarting itself through pauses.
• Detects ayat quoted mid-speech and names surah and verse.

What to know about the listening

The speech recognition is the browser’s own, and most browsers transcribe by sending audio to their maker’s service. The page says this plainly rather than implying otherwise.
