The Quran was preserved by mass memorisation and by writing from the beginning — huffaz in every generation carrying the same text the written mushaf fixes, each checking the other. Its recitation reaches us by tawatur: transmission so massive and independent that fabrication is not coherently possible. This dual guard is why the text you open in this reader is the text.
