- Amanah — Trustworthiness (أمانة) — Fulfilling every trust — of Allah, of people, and of the responsibilities you have been given. Quran 23:8; Musnad Ahmad 12383.
- Hilm — Forbearance (حلم) — Restraining anger and reacting with measured calm even in the face of provocation. Quran 3:134; Sunan Abi Dawud 5225.
- Zuhd — Detachment from Dunya (زهد) — Not being enslaved to the world — having it in your hands but not in your heart. Quran 57:20; Sunan Ibn Majah 4102.
